Over three years, PowerCorpsPHL will connect 300 young adults to meaningful employment, post-secondary programs of study, or continued national service. PowerCorpsPHL not only enriches the lives of its corps members, but also presents a great opportunity for Philadelphia both to grow its workforce and enhance its vast green space. Our goal is to strengthen communities by maintaining and enhancing public spaces and breaking down barriers to employment for Philadelphia’s young adults.  Through training and service, our corps members gain technical and transferable skills, work experience, and support transitioning to the demands of the 21st century economy.  Their service work helps to build the city’s green infrastructure, making Philadelphia healthier, safer, and stronger.

Check out our newsletter archive to learn about past progress we’ve made, events and projects we took part in, and to see what corps members had to say about their service experiences.
