Designed in collaboration with employers and industry partners, PCPHL Industry Academies are advanced training tracks that combine on-the-job and classroom-training that aim to transition graduates to career-track employment. Ideal applicants are graduates of the PCPHL foundations program and external applicants who have 6 months to 1 year of prior industry experience, or who have equivalent workforce development, trade, or vocational training.

Designed to prepare participants for success in entry-level career-track opportunities in infrastructure, including inspection, maintenance, design, surveying, and utility plan review.

Skilled Trades Academy
The Skilled Trades Academy is designed to prepare participants for success in electrical, HVAC, energy installation and connected trades. Training includes construction site safety, energy systems and design, service panels, installation techniques, electrical wiring, and HVAC systems. Graduates are prepared for entry-level career-track opportunities in energy panel installation, sales, inspection, HVAC, electrical, electronics, and general construction trades.
